Bharwa Shimla Mirch



Ingredients


  1. 3 capsicums

  2. 4-5 boiled potatoes

  3. 3-4 green chilies finely chopped

  4. 1 tsp grated ginger

  5. Salt to taste

  6. Roasted cumin and sauf together

  7. 1/2 tsp red chili powder

  8. 1 tsp dry mango powder

  9. 1 tsp coriander powder


Procedure


  1. Cut capsicums horizontally in halves

  2. Sprinkle salt and rest it aside for 10 mins


For Stuffing


  1. Take a pan, heat oil

  2. Add green chilies and ginger and saute for 2 mins

  3. Add roasted cumin and sauf and all other spices and mix well

  4. Add boiled potatoes and mix well. Keep it aside


For Bharwan Shimla Mirch


  1. Take capsicum and stuffed it with the potato stuffing

  2. Take a non stick pan

  3. Heat oil and keep these stuffed capsicum on low medium flame and cover it with lid

  4. After 12-15 mins keep it upside down and cover it with lid for 15 mins

  5. Repeat it again and further cover it for 10 mins
