Ingredients
4-5 boiled potatoes (mashed)
2-3 green chilies grinded
1 tea spoon grated ginger
4-5 tomatoes grated
Salt to taste
1 tea spoon cumin seeds
1.5 tea spoon red chili powder
1.5 tea spoon dry mango powder
1 tea spoon coriander powder
1 tsp fennel seeds (sauf)
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp chaat masala
1 bay leaf
Pinch of asafetida
1 tsp garam masala
1-2 tbsp oil
Procedure
Take a kadai.
Heat oil, add cumin seeds, asafetida and cook for a min.
Add ginger cook well for 2-3 mins.
Add all the spices and mix well.
Add tomato paste, green chilies and bay leaf, mix well on low lame.
Let it cook for 8-10 mins on low flame.
Add 1.5-2 cups water and bring it to boil.
Add mashed potatoes and bring it to boil.
Cook for 15-20 mins.
Add kasuri methi and garam masala, mix well cook further for 5 mins.
For Serving
Garnish it with fresh coriander and Serve Bhandara Aloo with puri / matar kachori or matar puri and enjoy.
