Ingredients
1 cup rice ( washed )
2 wadiya (crushed and roasted)
1 potato (cut in cubes)
3-4 tomatoes (roughly chopped)
1-2 green chilies (roughly chopped)
(Grind them together)
1 tsp grated ginger
Salt to taste
1 tsp cumin
Pinch of asafetida
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp dry mango powder
1 tsp oil
Procedure
Heat oil in cooker
Add cumin and asafetida
Add grated ginger and saute for a min
Add tomato paste and mix well
Cook for 7-8 mins or till it changes colour
Add spices and mix well
Add potatoes and mix well
Add roasted wadiya and cook well for 3-4 mins
Add 1/2 cup water or as required according to you
Cover it with lid, bring 1 whistle and lower the flame for 5 mins and turn off the flame
For Serving
Your aloo wadiya is ready and serve it with rice and enjoy
