Aloo Palak

(Serves 2-3)






Ingredients

  1. 150-200 gms Spinach (washed and chopped)

  2. 2 Potato (cut in cubes)

  3. 2 Onion (paste)

  4. 2 Tomato (paste)

  5. 1 tsbp Ginger Garlic and Green chili paste

  6. Salt to taste

  7. 1 tsp red chili powder

  8. 1 tsp dry mango powder

  9. 1 tsp garam masala

  10. 2-3 tbsp mustard oil


Procedure






  1. Heat oil in a pan.

  2. Add ginger,garlic and green chili paste.

  3. Toss it for a min or two.

  4. Add onion paste and mix it well.

  5. Cover it and cook it on low flame for 10-12 mins, till it is nicely cooked.

  6. Add potatoes and give it a nice mix.

  7. Add 1/2 cup water and cover it and let it cook for 10-12 mins on low flame.

  8. Add tomato paste and give it a nice mix.

  9. Let it cook for 5-7 mins on low medium flame.

  10. Add spinach, give it a nice mix.

  11. Cover it and let it cook for 8-10 mins on low flame.

  12. Add spices, give it a nice mix.

  13. Cover it with a lid and cook for a min or two.



For Serving


Pour in some ghee on hot, and serve Aloo Palak with some Chapatti and Enjoy!!
