Aloo Gobi


Ingredients


  1. 1 small cauliflower cut

  2. 1 medium potato cut

  3. 2/3 cup peas

  4. 1 tsp grated ginger

  5. Salt to taste

  6. 1.5 tsp cumin seeds

  7. 1 tsp red chili powder

  8. 1.5 tsp dry mango powder

  9. 1 tsp coriander powder

  10. 2 tbsp mustard oil

  11. Pinch of asafetida


Procedure


  1. Take a pan and heat oil.

  2. Add cumin seeds and stir for a min.

  3. Add grated ginger and cook for 2-3 mins on low medium flame.

  4. Add potatoes and cook for 10-12 mins on low medium flame, or till they are almost cooked.

  5. Add cauliflower and further cook for 10-12 mins.

  6. Add peas and mix well.

  7. Cover it with lid for 5-7 mins on low flame.

  8. Add spices and mix well.

  9. Cover for 2-3 mins.


For Serving

Garnish it with fresh coriander or kasuri methi and serve hot.
