Air Fried Atta Matar kachori

Serves 4


Ingredients


For Fillings


  1. 1 big bowl peas

  2. 3-4 green chilies

  3. 1 inch ginger

  4. Salt to taste

  5. 1 tsp red chili powder

  6. 1 tsp dry mango powder

  7. 1 tsp coriander powder

  8. 2 tsp cumin seeds

  9. Pinch of hing

  10. 2 tbsp oil


For Dough


  1. 3 cups wheat flour

  2. 3-4 tbsp oil

  3. 2 tsp salt

  4. 2 tsp ajwain

  5. Water as required


Procedure





For dough


  1. Mix all the above ingredients, except Water

  2. As required, add water and knead it in a dough

  3. Keep it aside.


For Filling

  1. Grind the peas, green chilies and ginger (not in a smooth paste)

  2. Heat oil in pan

  3. Add cumin seeds and hing

  4. Add crumbled peas and mix well for 6-7 mins on low flame.

  5. Add spices and mix well

  6. Cook well till peas are dry, the excess water is not there.

  7. Keep it aside



For Matar Kachori


  1. Make small balls of the dough

  2. Roll it little bit and add peas filling

  3. Make it a potli and roll flat with hands only.

  4. Pre heat the air fryer at 200 degrees for 5 mins.

  5. Keep the stuffed dough in the basket.

  6. Apply oil on both sides and set the air fryer for 8-10 mins.

  7. In between keep shaking the basket.

  8. If kachoris are not cooked, fry it for 5 more mins or accordingly.



For Serving

Serve hot matar kachori with Alloo ki sabzi / Dhai Aloo and raita
